At any rate, it seems like something is up with Mortal Kombat and nobody knows what. That is according to the game's own in-game messaging service, though some users are reporting otherwise. If that wasn't enough, the PS3 servers for Mortal Kombat 9 have been shut down. In another weird twist, the PS3 version of the main game was delisted from the PSN, but the "Komplete Edition" remains for sale. Some users over on ResetEra noticed that the 2011 reboot of the gory fighting series went missing from Steam this weekend. While everyone was enjoying Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons over the weekend, it seems WB Games was removing Mortal Kombat 9 from digital storefronts.
